Beverly was the name of the woman at the post office who shipped a package for me two years ago. I know this because Doug introduced us while he was accidentally making an audio recording on my cell phone. (As soon as he figured out that the cell phone was recording him talking, he launched straight into an interview of Beverly.)
We just listened to that recording earlier this week, and had a good laugh about it. Made me think about how Doug always went out of his way to meet and greet people... even if it was sometimes to the chagrin of those around him. I always admired that about it. :)
